Angus grew up in Adelaide and completed a double degree in International Business & International Studies in 2010. During university he worked at a winery, a wine bar, and managed supermarkets. In 2012 he moved to Melbourne and worked in project management whilst completing his Master of Finance.

In 2013 Angus began working as an Investment Analyst, and in 2015 the role saw him relocated to New York where he worked for a real estate fund from 2015-17. He then returned home to Adelaide where he is currently completing Coding Bootcamp and hoping for a change in career into programming.
